i found a website about philosophy that is made by this guy called ron.when i first saw it i thought it was going to be something about ron weasley from harry potter which i thought was really quite odd because why would ron weasley be writing about philosophy?
coincidently, is there an internet philosophy? what even is the internet? its often puzzled me. but i expect thats a scientific conundrum rather than a philosophical one.
anyway. what was i talking about?
oh yes, ron. well i was looking at his magical site which isnt that fun, even though one part is actually entitled 'Fun With Philosophy!' i think the exclamation mark offends me more than anything. but it mentions phenomenology, and some dude, name of 'Merleau-Ponty' which i found funnier than all the stuff ron was calling fun. oh wait a minute, ron actually says the quotes from merleau arnt that funny. but anyway, go and have a look everyone, you may as well. i mean, im supposed to be doing politics right now but instead im spending time with ron in cyberspace. he has some philosophy jokes...
yeh i just had a look theyre all pretty bad but some of you crazy cats may find them briefly amusing. i like the one about descartes.
"Descartes is sitting in a bar, having a drink. The bartender asks him if he would like another. "I think not," he says and vanishes in a puff of logic."
but i only like it because 'descartes' and 'bar' rhyme.
